This seasonal goody is to honor the long tradition of the St. Patrick Day celebration in Pittsburgh!
The year 2019 marks the 149th St. Patrick’s Day PARADE in Pittsburgh! The parade route is 1.4 miles long, typically attracts 200,000-350,000 spectators, has over 200 marching units, bands, floats and is one of the largest parades in the nation. The parade is held in the rain, snow or shine, and happened even in the 1993 blizzard! It is truly a festive occasion and a deep rooted fun tradition in Pittsburgh.
