Can I send a basket for a specific future date?
We understand that sometimes, timing is everything.
We use UPS Ground to ship our baskets. If UPS Ground Shipping will deliver your orderTOO SOON, we can hold the order and ship when it’s time.
When you check out, please enter the date below that you would like your order to ARRIVE, in the “Planning Ahead” section.

Can my basket be hand delivered locally?
Yes, please contact us, since hand delivery charges vary.
Do you offer delivery outside of the continental United States?
Yes. Please contact us for shipping rates and timing.
Do you ship to PO Boxes or Military Institutions?
Yes. But Packages sent to P.O. Boxes and Military Institutions must be shipped via the US Postal Service. Please contact us for shipping prices.
If I am shipping multiple baskets to the same recipient, can I save on shipping?
Possibly. Please contact us to determine if we can include several baskets in one box to help you save on shipping.
Is it possible to speak with a salesperson?
Our business hours are M-F 9:30-4:30 P.M. EST. We are open from 10:00-2:00 EST on Saturdays during the month of December. Call our shop 800-608-4400 during those hours to speak with a salesperson.
Is it safe to use my credit card online?

What if you are out of a product?
You will receive a product of equal or greater value.
Where can I ship a basket including wine to?
Currently, you can only ship baskets including wine within the state of Pennsylvania.
Which credit card types are accepted?
We accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express.
Why are there two separate charges, one for the basket from A Basket of Pittsburgh and one for the wine from Volant Mills Winery?
Due to PA Liquor Control Board regulations, wine must be purchased directly from a PA winery. Therefore, a separate charge directly from Volant Mills is necessary.
Why do you have to call me when I purchase a wine basket?
Due to PA Liquor Control Board regulations, wine can only be purchased directly from a PA winery. Therefore, we will call you to obtain your information and have the wine purchased directly through Volant Mills Winery.
Will I be charged sales tax?
You will be charged sales tax if the shipment is being delivered within the state of Pennsylvania.
